On May 7th, 2006, The Daughters of Sophia performed with the Alborada Spanish Dance Theater in the "The Feast of Sarah, A Gypsy Festival".  This was the troupe's second appearance with Alborada Spanish Dance Theater.  We would like to thank Eva Lucena, Artistic Director and all of her wonderfull dancers.

The performance was held at the Union County Performing Arts Center in Rahway, NJ.  The theater was built as a picture palace and vaudeville theatre in 1928.  It has excellent acoustics and is a little gem of Art Deco architecture.  (Actually not very little, it seats almost 1300 people).  This was a special treat for Ashtar who grew up in Rahway.
